Collectable Buildings

Collectable buildings require obtaining enough puzzle pieces in order to build. The buildings become more powerful as they are levelled up.

Evolving Buildings

Evolving buildings are event buildings (plus Pirate Fortress). They are built and upgraded using evolution tokens from events. The only exception is the Pirate Fortress where the evolution tokens are gained in the weekly Alliance Treasure Hunt and not a time limited event. Like normal buildings, these buildings change appearance as they increase in level as well as additional bonuses.

The era of the building is determined by when the player obtains the first evolution token, not when the building is built. The era of the building can determine the type of goods it produces, quantity of resources or happiness. To upgrade the era of a building, an Age Up Kit item is used. Using this item will increase the building by one era (e.g. Bronze Age to Minoan Era) but a building can not go above the era of the player.

These buildings have no build time. Goods and resources are produced every 24 hours and require no workers, with the exception of the Mongolian Feast which requires 3 workers for its production options.
These buildings can be stored in the Inventory by selling them. Stored buildings will retain the level and era.

Age Up Kit

Increases the Age of the selected Evolving Building by one, updating its output. It can't be increased higher than your currently researched Age.
Using this item does not reset any production timers.
